Journaling After Dark

Join us for Journaling After Dark, a monthly creative night at Love Affair Bookstore where books, creativity, and a little bit of chaos come together!
Held on the last Wednesday of every month from 6:30–8:30 PM, each month will feature a new bookish theme and a fresh collection of papers, ephemera, stickers, washi, embellishments, and other goodies to help you create your own unique journal spreads.
Whether you're a seasoned junk journaler or have never touched a glue stick in your life, you're welcome here! Come make something beautiful, unwind, meet fellow book lovers, and spend an evening surrounded by all things books.

Shape your mushroom cottage jar from air-dry clay using all the tools and materials provided. We'll safely store your creation while it dries, so it's ready for the finishing touches.🎨 Part Two: Paint & Finish Night
Return to bring your fairy cottage to life with paint, details, and a protective seal before taking your finished masterpiece home.
Emo Karaoke Night - Hosted by Basin Pride

Grab your eyeliner, your favorite black band tee, and prepare to scream-sing your heart out!
Join us at Love Affair Bookstore for a night of nostalgia, dramatic vocals, questionable life choices, and all the emo anthems you forgot you still knew every word to.
Hosted by Basin Pride, Emo Karaoke Night is your chance to step up to the mic and sing the songs that raised you, broke you, and probably got you through at least one questionable phase. 🖤
Whether you're ready to belt out your favorite My Chemical Romance classic, scream along to Fall Out Boy, channel your inner Paramore, or simply come hang out and cheer on your fellow emo kids—we want you there!

Bookish Bingo

Join us for a love affair with books, brunch, and bingo!
Your $15 ticket includes one bingo card (good for one round of bingo), bottomless mimosas or dirty sodas, and delicious brunch snacks while you play.
Want more chances to win? Additional bingo cards are available for $5 each or grab a bundle of 8 cards for $35! Expect cozy vibes, bookish fun, prizes, and plenty of laughs with fellow readers.
All ages are welcome, though some bingo cards may not be kid-friendly.
You must purchase a ticket to participate in the event. Tickets are posted in advance on the first of every month on our website.

Welcome to the Love Affair After Dark - Where we fall hard for fictional characters and aren't afraid of a little spice (or heartbreak).
We are a 16+ book club, ideal for mature teens (with parent approval) who enjoy spicier reads. We also offer young adult options for those seeking a milder romance journey. Each month, you'll get two book picks to choose from—because we know not every trope is for everyone. Didn't vibe with book one? No problem. Book two might be your next favorite. Didn't love either? You're still absolutely welcome at the discussion. We don't discriminate against any readers—even if you’ve broken more spines than hearts (or vice versa). Come for the books, stay for the banter, and let your next love affair start on page one.
